Facilities

Consisting of a 4 badminton court Sports Hall and a performance studio, the Griffin Centre is open to the community every evening, weekend and School Holiday.

The facilities are hired out to local clubs and organisations for competitive, training and social sports and  other activities.  Non-sporting activities include Church groups, children's parties and other functions.

Opening Times

6pm - 10pm weekdays( term time)

9am - 10pm weekdays( holidays)

9am - 10pm weekends

Management

The Centre is run in accordance with a 'dual use' agreement as set out by Sport England, Rugby Borough Council and the School Governors when the Griffin Centre was first built.

This stipulates targets for community use that include community groups, sports development initiatives, coaching and competition and exists in recognition of Sport England providing funding for the initial build.

Bookings

During the main sports season (September to April) the Centre hosts a number of loyal clubs, groups and competitions year on year.  These include aerobics, badminton, football, indoor hockey, table tennis and yoga.

Holiday Programme

Activities are run in conjunction with Rugby Borough Council every school holiday.  Sports to be included are Table Tennis, Basketball, Football, Trampolining, Fencing along with Arts and Drama.
