Unclaimed certificates

Unclaimed certificates are kept at LSS indefinitely, including certificates for subjects taken by our students at Rugby High School.  We have hundreds, some dating back to the 1950s, and would welcome claimants.  If you think we may have your certificates then please contact the Exams Office ( 01788 843742     orexamoff@lawrencesheriffschool.com).

Replacement certificates

If you have lost your exam certificates then the school may be able to supply a letter detailing your grades.  Many employers accept this as sufficient evidence of results.   If it is insufficient for your needs you will need to contact the relevant exam board(s) to obtain proof of your grades.  There is a charge for this service.

Your enquiry with the Exam Board will be expedited if you supply the school’s centre number (31260) and your unique candidate identifier (e.g. 312609991111A) which will be on any certificates you have not lost or can be obtained from the Exams Office.

You can check which Boards the school has used for different subjects at Boards.  If you took your exams some time ago the Board responsible may have been renamed or amalgamated with another.  To see which board to contact, visit the QCA website:

Once you have done this, contact the appropriate board to arrange replacement certificates:
